Slice of Life Day 12 - Home Sweet Home

Our trip home from Texas was quicker, only nine hours instead of the twelve or thirteen hours it took to get there.  We came through Dallas like a breeze this time instead of going around it.   Sunday is a much better day to travel than Friday.  Next time we go, we'll plan to go through Dallas.  The construction and traffic going through Fort Worth was terrible.  We only stopped to get gas and use the restroom once on the way home.  Then we stopped and ate lunch at Whataburger and we stopped one other time to use the restroom.  We were both very tempted to stop at antique shops along the way home, but we had to hurry home so that Tom could feed the cattle before dark.  I unpacked and started laundry and emptied the dishwasher.  Now, I must take a shower and get ready for bed to tackle a new week.  We only have one week until Spring Break though.  It is good to be home safe and sound.
