Slice of Life Day 16 - Lydia's Wedding Part III

The flowers turned out beautifully!  They arrived two days before the wedding, the same day I found out that Hobby Lobby had not ordered the candles and the day I was shopping for the fruit.  Lydia and Sarah were both working of course and Tom was home alone to deal with the flowers.  We had not thought this part through.  The flowers had to be immediately hydrated.  So Tom had to take them all out of their boxes and put them in something in water.  So he ran to Lowe's and bought some clean buckets and he used all of our little bathroom trash cans.  Then he put them in our basement so they would be in a cool place.  It worked out well, it was just stressful for him because he wasn't expecting to do that and worried that he might damage them.  We thought that we would just put the boxes in the spare refrigerator in the garage, but the boxes were way too big for that anyway.
