Tonight we are going to move our daughter, Sarah Beth, from Springfield to our home. Friday we are moving her to Belton, Texas!
We have had the luxury of having her close by but now she is flying even further from the nest. For eleven years of marriage I waited before I held this sweet little baby girl in my arms. She is the one with the sweet little brown curls around her sweet little face. We home-schooled her, taught her piano and violin, took her to Church, tumbling, six years of dance, private Christian school, helped her through college and now she is becoming a self-sufficient young woman. All those years of investing in her life were never easy but worth every minute.
I thank God for answering our prayers and giving her to us and I thank Him for giving us wisdom and helping us to raise her in the way she should go. We will continue to pray for her that God will lead her and direct her. And we will redecorate her room and turn it into a spare bedroom. Isn't that what everyone does?
